  2. We read it as a crawler does

    Your homepage, /robots.txt, /llms.txt, /llms-full.txt and /sitemap.xml, fetched once without a browser, so nothing your JavaScript adds later is counted. Each check is a rule applied to those bytes, not an opinion from a model.

  3. Fix what is in the way

    A row for each AI crawler saying whether your robots.txt lets it in, every check with the file or tag it read, and the fixes listed by the points each one adds.

Frequently asked questions

What does "visible to AI" mean?

That an assistant can fetch your pages, read the words on them and tell what you sell. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity send crawlers to read sites, some for answers a person is asking for right now and some for training. A site that blocks them, hides its text behind JavaScript or never says what it sells in plain words is one they skip.

Which AI crawlers does it check?

All 11 that the check reads robots.txt for: OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, Claude-User, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Perplexity-User, Google-Extended, which fetch pages for live answers, and GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Applebot-Extended, CCBot, which collect pages for training. Blocking a live-answer crawler fails the check; blocking a training crawler is reported as a choice.

Does a good score mean ChatGPT will recommend me?

No. This checks that AI can read you, which is the step before being named. Whether an assistant names you when a buyer asks is a separate test: the free ChatGPT rank checker asks the questions and shows who it named.

Why does the excerpt of my homepage look empty?

Because your words arrive through JavaScript. A browser runs it; many crawlers do not, so they receive the empty shell. Server rendering or prerendering the page fixes it.

Is this the same check as /agent-check?

Yes. It is the same code and the same stored report, so the shareable link on your result opens the full report on /agent-check, and the API at /api/agent-check returns it as JSON.
