What is FAQ schema?
An FAQPage label in your page's code that lists each question and its answer. AI and search engines read the pairs directly instead of working them out from the layout. Rankli adds it to every article with an FAQ, from the text the article already shows.
Will Google show my FAQ as a rich result?
Since August 2023 Google shows FAQ rich results only for well-known government and health sites. The markup still labels your questions for every other reader, AI included. Rankli writes each FAQ answer to be quoted: two to four sentences.
How long should an answer be?
Two to four sentences, with the answer in the first one. This tool flags any answer over 80 words. Rankli's writer answers every FAQ question it publishes at that length.
Do the questions have to be on the page?
Yes. Markup has to describe what a reader sees, so show the same questions and answers as text. Rankli builds its FAQ markup from the published article's own text, so the two always match.
What format does the tool read?
Each question after "Q:" and its answer after "A:", with a blank line between pairs. Without any "Q:", each block is read as a question on its first line and the answer below it. Inside Rankli there is no format to learn: the writer adds the FAQ for you.
