AI only reads the top of your page
Answer engines take a chunk from the top of a page and move on. Give us a URL and we will show you exactly what that chunk contains on yours, where your answer actually sits, and what to move.
How it works
Three steps, no account
Step 1: Give us the address
One public page. We fetch it once, as a plain reader rather than as a browser.
Step 2: See the opening chunk
The first couple of hundred words, exactly as anything that is not a browser receives them. If your answer is not in there, an engine reading from the top will not find it.
Step 3: Move the answer up
A map of the page in thirds shows where your title words are densest, eight extractability measurements say what is in the way, and the fixes are listed in order.
Frequently asked questions
Does this show what ChatGPT would actually say about my page?
No, and nobody can. We do not ask any model about your page. Everything shown is measured off your own HTML — the text a non-browser reader receives, where your topic words sit, and eight structural checks.
Why does the top of the page matter so much?
Retrieval systems chunk a document and usually score the earliest chunks first. A page whose answer is under 1,200 words of preamble is a page whose answer is often outside the window that gets read.
My page looks empty in the excerpt. Why?
Because the words arrive via JavaScript. A browser runs it; a crawler frequently does not. That is the single most valuable thing this tool can tell you.
Will fixing these things help my Google rankings too?
The same properties — a clear title, one H1, an early answer, question-shaped headings, server-rendered text — are ordinary on-page SEO. This tool is about extraction, and the two overlap almost entirely.
Ready to get started?
These tools do one step each. Rankli does the whole loop: it reads your site, plans a month of articles, writes them in your measured brand voice, checks each draft against fifteen on-page rules and publishes it to your CMS.
