SEO articles, published to Ghost on auto-pilot
For a publisher or a founder running a Ghost site. One Admin API key connects Rankli to your site, and 30 finished articles a month land as posts with their feature image, meta description and tags already set.

Four steps, and the third one is ours
A custom integration in your own Ghost admin, an Admin API key, and the site address. Nothing is scheduled until the key has been proven against your site.
Connect GhostAdd a custom integration
In Ghost admin, Settings → Integrations → Add custom integration. Name it Rankli and create it. That screen is also where you delete it, which cuts off publishing and nothing else.
Copy the Admin API key and the API URL
The Admin key is an id and a secret joined by a colon; copy the whole string including the colon. The API URL is your Ghost site’s address, and on Ghost(Pro) that may be your ghost.io address.
We verify it before anything is sent
Saving reads your site record as the connection test, which proves both halves of the key. Rankli signs a short-lived token with them for every request, so the key itself never travels.
Choose published or draft
Published puts each article live at its scheduled time. Draft puts it in Ghost for review. Set it per connection and change it whenever you like.
A post, finished
Every field below is written by the publisher itself. The full walkthrough is in the Ghost guide.
Published or draft, per connection. Start on draft and read a month of writing in your own editor before you let it go live on its own.
15 checks on every draft. Nine can stop it.
The rules are enforced in code on every article, and the verdict is written on the article itself, so a review is a scorecard rather than a full read.
- No invented specifics. An unsourced percentage, an academic-style citation, a dated study, a quote attributed to a person: each is a hard failure.
- Subject coverage. A draft that covers the topic without covering your subject is refused rather than scheduled.
- 1,500 to 3,000 words, with every section measured, so no heading arrives with two sentences under it.
- Your banned phrases. A list you set, enforced across the title, the excerpt and the body.
- Keyword placement without stuffing. In the title, the first hundred words and an H2, under a density ceiling.
- Internal links to your own pages. Contextual links into real articles and landing pages, never into your terms page or your login screen.
9 of the 15 are hard: a draft that fails one does not reach your site.
Then we measure what the posts did
Your own Search Console
Impressions, clicks and position per published page, and the queries each one actually ranks for, read from Google’s report on your property.
4 answer engines
ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude, asked your tracked questions every month, 6 times each.
A pre-registered experiment
A held-out control and a prediction written down first, so a rise in citations is a result rather than a coincidence.
A rewrite when it is close
A post on the edge of page one gets a proposed rewrite aimed at the query it is nearest to winning, published back to the same post.

Ghost publishing, answered
Which key does Rankli need?
The Admin API key from a custom integration, in the form id:secret. Rankli signs a short-lived token with it for every request, and the connection test reads your site record so both halves are proven before an article is ever scheduled.
Ghost uses the Lexical editor. Does the formatting survive?
Yes. We send HTML and let Ghost convert it, which is the supported path, and everything we send is headings, paragraphs, lists, links, images and blockquotes. Those all arrive intact, so a Rankli post opens in the Ghost editor like a post your team wrote.
Can I review posts before they go live?
Yes. Publish mode is set per connection: draft puts every article into Ghost for review, published puts it live at its scheduled time. Most people start on draft, read a month of writing, then switch it and stop reading it.
What happens to tags?
Tags come from the article’s own keyword cluster, and a tag that does not exist yet is created. Your archive stays organised without anybody tagging thirty posts a month by hand.
Where does the feature image come from?
Every article is written with a cover and in-article images, and the hero is uploaded to Ghost first and set as the feature image. The alt text comes with it, so the post is complete the moment it lands.
What does it cost?
Growth is $99 a month for 30 finished articles with research, images, publishing and measurement included. Start on the $1 trial for 3 of them on your own Ghost site, and nothing renews.
Connect Ghost in about five minutes.
$1 once buys 3 finished articles on your own site. One of 10 connections Rankli publishes to.
